As the brain child of the German Jewelery and watch manufacturer, Heinz Schwarz, the TeNo brand stands out primarily for its creative mixing of new and old materials. Distinguished by its bold use of red, white, and black, the New TeNo Steel DyRon Sport II Chronograph is no exception and in many ways seems designed to tease the minds of all who see it.
For instance, though its stainless steel case may only measure 40mm in diameter and 8mm thick, this time piece exudes a far heftier look and feel on the wrist, thanks in large part to its industrial rotating bezel and protruding chronograph push controls.
Clever detailing in the strap is another area where this watch can trick both watch fanatics and the fashion focused alike. Unquestionably sporty and the perfect companion to the unique coloration on the chronograph’s face, a quick glance may lead many to assume it’s made from rubber. In reality, this unique band is made from a combination of black and red indented leather that grabs plenty of attention on its own when peering from the side of sleeves. Additionally, the DyRon Sport II also features a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal and a Swiss quartz movement.

RESCO’s first offering, the Patriot, will soon hit the market. Based around a automatic Slava S-2427 movement (the Iron Curtain irony is not lost on R.E.) it has a custom 42mm stainless case developed in conjunction with Lum-Tec. The Patriot has a host of other features you’d expect from a high end sport watch including:
The Patriot is a blunt watch. Its made to provide a rugged watch that will tell you the (right) time no matter the situation, and maybe look decent in the process. By all accounts its succeeding, a prototype has made it through all Phases of SEAL training, and continues to perform in advanced training.
