With SEIKO’s dive watch developments originally coming to light in 1965 with their inaugural model, a retrospectively paltry 150 m level of waterproofing was all that was offered.
Throughout the years, technological break-throughs have pushed the depths and levels of SEIKO dive watches as the engineers were able to attain a level of waterproofing rated to 1000 m in 1986.
In 2009, the SEIKO PROSPEX MARINEMASTER PROFESSIONAL also earned itself a self-winding feature to further advance the SEIKO lineage of dive watches. The PROSPEX MARINEMASTER PROFESSIONAL comes in two different versions, the SBDX011 (date) and SBBN013 (day/date).
