G-Shock GW-5600 Carbon Fiber
Casio Japan today announced a new pair of G-Shocks outfitted with carbon fiber bands. As in aircraft and rockets, the use of CF reduces weight, while at the same time increasing durability. Additional features include solar power and multi-band 6 atomic sync.
The GW-S5600 (pictured left) will be released June 30, 2010, while the inverted LCD GW-S5600B hits retail July 31, 2010. Retail runs over $300 USD.

Richard Mille RM027
Richard Mille created this watch for pro tennis player Rafael Nadal. This complex tourbillon mechanical watch weighs just 20 grams including the strap, its complex movement weights just 3.83 grams.
This was accomplished by using carbon fiber for the case and titanium and aluminum lithium for the rest. This watch will be worn on the court which will prove how durable it is since most tourbillon watches are usually on the fragile side.
Only 50 will be made with a retail price of $525,000.

4N timepiece

Crafted by the brand called 4N, the watchmaker has weirdly named the masterpiece the 4N-MVT01/D01/42. So, to keep it simple, the 4N watch is manually wound and the hours and minutes are supposed to be jumping hours and minutes to allow a steady surge of power from the movement to move the discs without affecting the rate of the movement.
Featuring a wide screen, the 4N watch will be available in 18k white gold, platinum, along with the movement made mostly of titanium, aluminum alloys and carbon fiber.
Designed by François Quentin, the 4N watch will be available in a limited edition of just 16 units.
