Omega Central Tourbillon Co-Axial Platinum Watch

Omega brings some of the highest complications to surface with their Central Tourbillon Co-Axial Platinum limited edition offering. 18 units of the tourbillon watch are bring made. What makes this watch special is the central placement of the tourbillon itself. “The movement has a luxurious sun-brushed pearlescent finish; its bridges and mechanisms are hand polished. The rotor with its sapphire plate has been newly designed … and the watch’s individual serial number (out of 18). The Skeletonized Tourbillon Co-Axial Platinum Limited Edition is equipped with a Breguet balance spring.” This is very serious business.

De Bethune DB025 Watch

In the pursuit of ever greater efficiency comes comes a host of arguably small changes makes De Bethune an even more capable watch maker with the DB025 line. Inside the watch is a movement that does not need adjustment and that now has a silicon balance wheel. There is also hardened non-magnetic steel in the case, which itself on the outside is either 18k white or rose gold - large at 44.6mm wide. The DB2105 movement has a power reserve of a full 6 days with a power reserve indicator located toward the side rear of the case.

There are two dial options available - either the most classic white tone with Roman numerals, or my favorite, the pictured flame blued steel with gold stars. It really compliments the spherical moon phase indicator wonderfully and looks beautiful with the hand-polished steel hands. Classic looks still meld well with a modern feel in the design, which is enhanced by the skeletonized lugs.

The all new silver color adds to the contemporary aesthetics and with a large digital display it makes it easy to read. Rebellion Predator Watch

The large round case has bezel cut-aways for their distinctive torx screws and ceramic inserts on the lug structures. The watch is available in several material versions where you can mix-and-match steel, ceramic, and red gold. In addition to the tri-compax chronograph as seen, the Predator watch will be available in a three-hand (time only) and monopusher chronograph version.

You can visualize the clear "technical" looking face with the now in, honey-comb texture on the dial. Likely with a bit of movement view action going on underneath that.Inside the watch are Swiss automatic mechanical movements. The partially obstructed subsidiary seconds indicator on a disc (like a brake rotor) is always a fun touch. Nothing hugely original, but Rebellion is certainly on a short list of high-end luxury watches with race car technology inspired themes. The new predator watches will all be available as limited editions.

Concept : Geocentric watch

The “Geocentric” by Geoffrey Cooper, a human-centered designer with a keen perception of the world around him, is a sci-fi-inspired watch that employing a motion identical to planets rotating around the sun produces a mesmerizing spectacle.

Presenting a whole a new form of time telling, the watch features a number of rings, quite apparent on the dial, which keep rotating over and over again like a traditional time machine, creating a sense of awe and wonder among viewers.

Omega Constellation Baguette Watch

Omega muses that because each diamond in the watch is hand selected and cut for the piece, if a diamond would require replacement, the process would take as long as making an entire new watch as a stone would need to be selected to make a new watch. This is the Omega Constellation Baguette watch for ladies, and I am not sure if there is going to be more than one of them (only one has been made so far).

The watch is in 18k white gold and has 459 very large Wesselton diamonds all over it - from the dial to the case, and all over the bracelet. The stones have what is called an "invisible mount," which makes their settings not visible. This makes them look all put together very neatly and closely. The watch contains all baguette and trapeze cut diamonds. There is also a small mother-of-pearl disc behind the star shape on the dial.

Inside the watch is an Omega Caliber 8421 automatic Co-Axial escapement mechanical movement. A lovely piece in a sick, ultra excess sort of way, the watch has over 30 carats of diamonds on it.
