Hautlence HL08 Watch

New for 2010. Hautlence is giving its "TV screen" style watch line a redesigned face. Inside the watch is the HL08 manually wound movement that features a dial for the hours, retrograde minutes dial with a really unique hand, and a small seconds dial (the most traditional dial of the bunch). The HL08 seems to play with three dimensionality.

Everything seems to have height to it. Much of the dial is actually the movement, all nicely hand-decorated for a unique look which is all Hautlence. The case is in 18k white gold and 43.5mm wide by 37mm high (not really as large as it looks).

Louis Moinet Jurassic Tourbillon watch

The Jurassic Tourbillon contains fragments of authentic fossilized dinosaur bones around 130 million years old. While most of the rare fossils find a house in a public setting where they can be properly admired, Louis Moinet has innovatively housed these fossils for a unique admirer.

The hand-wound watch features an 18K white gold case with 56 Top Wesselton VVS baguette diamonds (3.46 cts) on the bezel, a tourbillon cage at 6 o’clock and an indicator for the 72-hour power reserve at 12 o’clock. The timepiece is water-resistant to 30 m and also features genuine galuchat with 18K gold folding clasp.

Glashütte PanoMaticLunar XL

The PanoMaticLunar XL presents the classic lines and look of the PanoMatic XL models in an understated, eloquent form. Set within the galvanized matt gray dial are the characteristic off-center hour/minute and subsidiary seconds dials, finely milled and galvanized in the same dark gray hue. The elegant moon phase display presents a shining silver moon and stars against a fine-grained silver sky.

Applied white gold Arabic numerals indicating hour 12 are framed by white gold hour markers and white gold hour, minute and seconds hands. Enhancing the minimalist design is the visually compelling panorama date display, whose white numerals on a dark gray ground present the date without the need for a double window. The 42mm stainless steel case offers both polished and satin-finished surfaces and is held securely in place by a finely-worked gray alligator strap. At the heart of the new PanoMaticLunar XL is the Caliber 90-02 automatic movement.

Its finely finished elements, the three-quarter plate, swan-neck fine adjustment, Glashütte ribbing and sunburst decoration, characteristic of the fine art of mechanical watch making at Glashütte Original, are clearly visible through a sapphire crystal case back.

Omega Constellation Baguette Watch

Omega muses that because each diamond in the watch is hand selected and cut for the piece, if a diamond would require replacement, the process would take as long as making an entire new watch as a stone would need to be selected to make a new watch. This is the Omega Constellation Baguette watch for ladies, and I am not sure if there is going to be more than one of them (only one has been made so far).

The watch is in 18k white gold and has 459 very large Wesselton diamonds all over it - from the dial to the case, and all over the bracelet. The stones have what is called an "invisible mount," which makes their settings not visible. This makes them look all put together very neatly and closely. The watch contains all baguette and trapeze cut diamonds. There is also a small mother-of-pearl disc behind the star shape on the dial.

Inside the watch is an Omega Caliber 8421 automatic Co-Axial escapement mechanical movement. A lovely piece in a sick, ultra excess sort of way, the watch has over 30 carats of diamonds on it.
