For the 2010 Spring/Summer collection Nixon have used orange as its key color and this bright color reflects the Sun and its warm light as well. They will be dropping the popular The 51-30 watches incorporating the orange color against the black backdrop putting a twist on the classic design.
On one hand The 51-30 PU takes a more casual approach with the all black watch detailed with orange dial, accents on hands and logos. As the model name suggests, they have not used a metallic band but have gone with PU material in black color giving it a divers watch aesthetic. On the other hand The 51-30 Chrono takes definite inspiration from Sunset with the whole face made in a smooth gradation of orange from top to bottom, accented with black dials. This version is more formal with its all black metallic band.
