Nixon – The 51-30 Black/Purple

Nixon has released a brand new colorway of The 51-30 in black/purple. The big face watch is all blacked out in a deep gun metal shade except for the contrasting purple details on the dial and hands. What sets this watch apart from others is that this is an actual divers watch and is water resistant to 30 bars or 300 meters (hence the name, The 51-30).

As for what 51 means, the number stands for the case size, which is 50mm. The 51-30 has a rugged build would be fit in just fine both at home out at sea, or at parties for for picking up reeling in the ladies. Last but not least, and the quartz movement keeps the watch ticking consistently.

An international luxury lifestyle store Harvey Nichols carries various Nixon models in their stores and to provide something exclusive to the customers they have teamed up to produce a very limited The Player watch. Limited to only 60 pieces the rubber watch is produced in dark grey color matched with silver minute/hour hands while the second hand is switched up in purple color. What makes this model so exclusive is that it features a diamond instead of the usual crystal at the 6 o’clock position. The case back is also engraved and this watch comes with a collector’s kit stand and packaging.

Nixon - Spring 2010 - The Time Teller P Watches | Preview

Nixon will be launching their Spring 2010 collection of The Time Teller P watches. Unlike many of the Nixon watches, this model is made out of poly carbonate rather than metal and has a more pop appeal than luxury.

There is a consistency with use of black, orange, white, yellow and blue colors. Although all the watches do not feature all the colors but limited to two tones and patterns maintaining individuality of each design.

These watches are also made as unisex pieces utilizing Japanese quartz movement and water resistance to 100 meters.

Nixon x NITRO MICROPHONE UNDERGROUND - 10th Anniversary Exclusive Watch

Nixon have prepared these specially designed 10th anniversary watch for NITRO MICROPHONE UNDERGROUND. It shows the strong influence of this Japanese hip hop group as these were not made for general public but for each of the eight members of the group to wear on stage during their extensive Japan tour. The gold and black combination of the watch matches the anniversary colors of their other collection.
Black stones are encrusted into the bezel matching the black face that is detailed with gold numbering and hands. On the back casing is the engraving of the NITRO MICROPHONE UNDERGROUND logo and anniversary years under it.
