Mysterious Automatic Double Axis Tourbillon

Look at this Mysterious Automatic Double Axis Tourbillon, a transparent watch by master craftsman Thomas Prescher. Marvel at its intricate gravity-defying movement, hanging out there in the open while the rest of it is hidden on the sides and top.

Suspended in the middle of it this transparent case is the watch's tourbillon, a delicate mechanism designed to enhance accuracy by countering the effect of gravity when the watch is rotated on a wrist. But Prescher goes a step beyond that with his "flying double axis tourbillon," further negating any gravity effects.

Suspending that mechanism on the end of a stalk and displaying only the time and date in this transparent case shows how clever the watchmaker can get.
